OEM Account Manager
This position will facilitate corporate growth through the development of customer relationships and will convert relationships to an increasing marketshare through offerings of the Company's products and services. Other responsibilities include:
- Identify key customers and contacts within specified OEM & EMS markets
- Identify memory module and stacking requirements at target accounts
- Interface with customers engineering department to define memory module specs
- Ability to achieve and surpass assigned sales quotas
- Assist department manager with creating proposals to solve customer memory needs
- Collect customer forecast requirements
- Identify competition within the account
- Determine special requirements relative to specific component manufacturers, labeling, manufacturing, inspection, test and services
- Manage customer specific supply chain
- Assist with correcting aging issues if necessary
- Create monthly business plan with target sales goals
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor or Master of Science Degree with emphasis in electronic engineering preferred
- Aptitude and/or field experience in OEM and EMS Sales
- Ability to source leads in the OEM and EMS market place
- Proven experience in qualifying target accounts and opportunities
- Proven ability to grow a solid customer base
- Assertive, diligent, responsible, and knowledgeable in the general telemarketing environment
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and writing skills
- Proficient at Microsoft Office products and basic email packages
Preferred:
- Knowledge of OEM and EMS market and market segments
- Knowledge of computer memory
- Working knowledge of and/or experience in the computer and/or OEM/EMS industry
