Director of Engineering - Storage
This management position will assume the complete responsibility for leading the architecture and engineering development of Entorian's storage products. The successful candidate will build and manage an engineering team comprised of SW, HW and system test functions. He/she will work closely with sales/marketing/customers on specifying and design-in of the products, while also working with Entorian's NPI/manufacturing team to ensure successful production ramp according to the set cost, performance and schedule targets. The job may reside in Austin, Texas or Irvine, California.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, MS/MBA preferred. This position requires experience in leading successful engineering programs for storage products (HDD, SSD) with a proven track record of revenue generation. He/she must possess HW & SW systems partitioning, mechanical/environmental packaging, manufacturing engineering, test and related problem solving experience associated with predominantly storage related products/technology. Experience with high speed interfaces (SATA, SAS, FC, etc.), FPGA/ASIC design methodology and NAND Flash technology is highly desirable.
