Configuration/Change Control Manager
This position will be responsible for developing (where required), implementing, and administering a product configuration management system. Other responsibilities will include:
- Creation of formalized processes intended to control the definition and revision of customer-delivered electronic assemblies throughout the product lifecycle. This includes development of ECR and ECO systems.
- Document control coordinator; manage and administer the document vault and part master catalog. This includes initiation of releases and revisions as well as posting and distribution of documents, product structures, and data.
- Maintaining internal manufacturing planning system records relative to product part lists.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have an applicable Associate's Degree or equivalent. It is preferred that the candidate has a BA Degree and/or CM certification. In addition, five or more years experience in configuration management, document management, or equivalent responsibility in a technical manufacturing environment is required. This experience is preferably in an ISO certified semiconductor, electronics or aerospace organization. The individual must have proven technical, organizational, leadership, communication, and team abilities needed to create and administer processes and procedures supporting this job function. The candidate must be willing to provide hands-on clerical functions as well as leadership/development functions. Proficiency with ERP/MRP, document vault, and basic office software is mandatory.
