SMT Equipment Operator
This position is responsible for operating SMT production equipment and ensuring optimum productivity and product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss daily strategies with supervisor and production control to optimize productivity
- Inventory transaction accuracy
- Prepare peripheral tooling for use and maintenance upon completion. (Stencils, feeders, tools, support mechanisms)
- Ensure equipment is setup properly to achieve BOM and workmanship requirements
- Study setup techniques and complication variables to constantly reduce setup times in the future
- Verify measurements for process controls and record results
- Perform first article review for equipment setup qualification
- Ensure equipment operation is maintained throughout the production run by verifying production output quality
- Report variables or process complications, and equipment malfunction to supervisor as well as recording onto the Line Log
- Data input of production run results on work order and associated databases
- Maintenance equipment per schedule
- Clean facility as required
- Hazardous material handling and disposal
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma plus prior experience with SMT equipment
- The candidate must be knowledgeable about IPC-A-610 standard and have proficiency with the following capital equipment:
- Panasonic
- MPM
- Conceptronics
- OmniFlow
- Amistar
- Must speak and read English and possess mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
